Information you provide

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and the content of a message when you contact us, request a privacy action, or subscribe to communications.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic logs. This information supports delivery, security, troubleshooting, and aggregate measurement.

Cookies and similar technologies

GearMyRide and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site operation, preferences, analytics, security, advertising measurement, audience creation, and affiliate attribution. Google Analytics helps us understand site use, and Google advertising services may measure campaign performance or create relevant audiences when permitted. Affiliate networks and retailers may set their own technologies after you follow an outbound link.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with GearMyRide through behavioral metrics, click and scroll heatmaps, and session replays. Clarity may process page visits, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, device and browser information, approximate location, performance data, and diagnostic events using cookies and similar technologies. We use this information to improve site usability, content, performance, security, and advertising measurement where permitted. Sensitive form content is masked by default. Microsoft processes this information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Use to review or change your choices. Where opt-in consent is required, analytics and advertising storage remain disabled until you choose otherwise. Elsewhere, available choices may operate as an opt-out. We retain the preference cookie for up to 180 days unless you change it sooner. Supported Global Privacy Control signals disable advertising and personalization storage.

How information is used

  • Respond to messages and privacy requests.
  • Send requested communications and administer subscriptions.
  • Measure aggregate readership and affiliate-link performance.
  • Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

Service providers and third parties

We may provide limited information to vendors that perform hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, and other operations on our behalf. When you follow a third-party or affiliate link, the destination’s privacy policy governs its collection and use of information.

Sale and sharing

GearMyRide does not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising, analytics, or affiliate activities may be treated as “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, use to disable advertising and personalization storage.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in an email. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information. Submit a request through our Data Request page.
