How to submit a request
Email hello@gearmyride.com with the subject “Privacy data request.” State the type of request and identify the email address or interaction connected with the information.
Available request types
- Access or obtain a copy of personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable.
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
Verification
To protect visitors, we may ask for information reasonably necessary to match and verify a request. Do not send government identification, financial information, passwords, or other highly sensitive documents unless we specifically explain why they are legally necessary and provide a secure method.
Authorized agents
If you submit a request for another person, identify yourself as an authorized agent and explain your authority. We may verify the request directly with the person concerned or request documentation as permitted by law.
Response timing
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within the period required by applicable law. Complex requests may require additional time, in which case we will explain the extension where required.
